I had great results using the Organix Hydrating Macadamia Dry Styling Oil recently, so I am adding to this with a trial of the brand’s Instant Repair Cocoa Butter Shampoo and Conditioner.
The name gave me high hopes, anything that has cocoa butter in the title gives me ideas of super rich hydration which will have dry hair bouncing with joy. The scent lived up to my expectations, it had a deliciousness that lingered after use.
The products were nice but compared to my regular salon brands my hair didn’t feel as smooth and nourished as I had anticipated.I do have naturally dry, curly hair so if you are a little more blessed in the hair department I think you will be happy with the Organix Instant Repair Cocoa Butter.
I would really like to see a mask added to the collection, I think it would give the routine a little bit more richness for damaged hair.
In addition to the cocoa butter the shampoo and conditioner also contain babassu oil for restoring elasticity and babassu oil for shine. There are no sulphates and no parabens.
The bottles are eco friendly and all in all, I’d probably choose these over many other supermarket brands but I wouldn’t replace my existing salon quality shampoos and conditioners…and that’s OK because the price tags are very different!
